The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise team of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has become the first team in the tournament to feature a woman in its support staff in the upcoming 13th season. The team has tied up with Navneeta Gautam as a massage therapist.
Navneeta will work closely with chief physiotherapist Ewan Speechi and strength and conditioning coach Shankar Basu. On his appointment, franchise chairman Sanjeev Chudiwala said, 'I am happy to be a part of this moment in history. This is a step we have taken in the right direction. In many ways, this game is spreading far and wide.
